Belated Showering

So, with all the hullabaloo (read: excellence) in my life lately, I realized that I forgot to post about my baby shower here in San Antonio.

 It was so great, and a wonderful excuse to get together with all of the pals I've made the last three years. My friends Becca, Aimee, and Laura threw the shower for me, and they are just so creative and fun. Here's some of the cute things they did:


The most entertaining, and scariest, activity occured as my friends got to cut up photos of Mike and me and paste our faces together to showcase what little Eli would look like. Some of the results were truly terrifying. Fortunately, he ended up a lot cuter that just a combination of Mike's and my features!

My sister-in-law, Tiffany, came down with my old college roomie, Tracy for the shower. I also had friends come from both of the wards I've been in here and some friends from when I worked at the Humane Society. I am so lucky to have great people around me, especially with family so far away.  Here's some of the lovely ladies chowing down and chatting:

It was a great night, and a great way to get excited for the arrival of our little man.
