Little Mr. Eli has been one busy camper the last few days. Just this Saturday, Eli discovered that he can (drum roll, please) roll! Woo hoo! He's been pretty taken with this new trick and loves to roll from his back on to his tummy whenever he gets a chance. He's on--wait for it--a roll!
As it this new feat wasn't impressive enough, Eli has also discovered his...
feet! (Feat... feet... sorry, I'm out of control today.) He constantly has his feet in his hands or his hands in his mouth. It's so fun to see him discover things.
He still hasn't been sleeping for super long periods at night, and most the time I'm awake at around 1, 4 and 8 a.m. feeding him. In some weird way, I'm almost getting used to it. However, I would definitely like to get a bit more sleep so I'm introducing some rice cereal into Eli's diet at night and trying to toughen myself up a bit so that I don't pick him up right when he starts crying. I know it'll be worth it, but it's hard to let your little guy cry! He doesn't know why I suddenly won't feed him. The nice thing is that Eli will fall asleep almost anywhere (see above pic).
All in all, he's a very happy guy. He loves to have us make faces, sing and even growl at him. I almost feel bad putting him in this little outfit because I don't think he's been crabby one day in his life (it says "Crabby but cute").
He's two videos of Eli. The first is him cooing and talking away. Mike was on the phone with a mechanic and Eli thought Daddy was talking to him.
And look at this neat new trick! He's such a strong little guy.
We love you, little man.
Oh my goodness! What a cutie patootie! He must get his extremely happy attitude from you Alli! I just noticed the diapers too, how are you liking using cloth? They look so cute on him!
